Simplicity is not simple
"The stuff we are doing is simple and plain" - Erno Goldfinger
Drawing can be a process of distilling - reducing the complex information that enters our eyes down to essential details. People often mistake the simplicity of accomplished drawings for simplicity of production, imagining the artist casually drawing their fluid design, but this is never true. As a rule, the simpler the design the longer the process.
